Our Team
Robbie Brock, MS, LCMHC, Founder
My therapy approach aims to touch on the practical and the profound, objective and personal. My style is supportive, nonjudgmental and occasionally irreverent. I have trained in CBT, CBTp, CPT, DBT, CTR, ACT and many other acronyms. I use an eclectic approach based on the specific needs and goals of my clients.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and community mental health organizations. This experience has prepared me to support people with a variety of life experiences and helped me to appreciate the commonalities of the human condition. We all suffer, we all seek meaning and connection and we all want to improve.
Caylee Cantrell, LCSWA
My therapeutic approach can be described as calming and creative. I tailor my sessions to each individual client’s needs, and strive to make my clients feel comfortable in our therapeutic space. My specialties include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and challenges with self confidence.
I have a background in treating Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and substance use disorders. I also have experience in working with clients to develop healthy coping skills, stress management, emotional regulation, and healthy boundaries. My goal is to guide my clients to recognize their full potential and reach their goals with self determination.
Stewart Shirey, MA, MSW, LCSW
I approach mental health treatment with curiosity, an open mind, and a desire to help clients explore and recognize themselves outside of labels, stereotypes, symptoms, and behaviors. My style seeks to understand, suspend judgement, and sustain improved wellbeing. Problem solving, behavioral change, personal growth and awareness are incorporated into a personalized plan to guide us towards your desired outcomes.
I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2005 and have developed an approach to working with people that recognizes their strengths and their struggles, where they’ve been, where they are, and where they want to go. I use a collaborative style to merge the client’s experiences, and expertise of themselves, with my knowledge of approaches, modalities, and to tailor treatment and guide their therapeutic journey.
Nathan Brunson, LCSW, LCAS
My orientation to counseling rests mainly on cognitive theory and its associated alphabet soup of modalities (CBT, CT-R, CPT, DBT, ACT). But beyond all the letters, I believe all humans need three simple things: a sense of purpose, a sense of connection, and to make sense of the suffering in and around us. When we pursue these senses, I believe we can build the lives we were meant for.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for nearly a decade in hospitals, outpatient, and community mental health. I’ve counseled individuals and groups on behavior change and symptom management for anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and psychosis. My aim is to help folks ease suffering, increase purpose, pursue connection, and ultimately improve their emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
